Karen Mortimore
Born and brought up in Malvern, Karen had an artistic instinct from an early age. She’s now a full time artist, living in Ledbury, painting to commission and working on creative projects with Core Context Consulting.
Covering art auctions – as editorial assistant on the weekly Antiques Magazine – sparked her passion for art and her determination to work in the art world was rewarded with a job as studio manager for a leading contemporary artist. Following this, she managed a prestigious retail gallery in Cheltenham for a number of years before taking the opportunity to pursue her own artistic path.
Karen was the artist for images and design of Keith’s book Regeneration & Co-Creation: Changing Change and is currently working with him on the second book about innovation and co-creation.
Karen loves to work to commission and co-create work – listening to people and synthesising patterns of thought is one of her main skills. Before taking a break to have her baby daughter, Karen was the co-creative artist on worldwide projects with key Core Context clients.
